Job Description: Under supervision; performs billing procedures and customer consumption record keeping; operates personal computer to provide utility information for meter reading to meter billing. Work varies, exercises limited judgement within prescribed standards and procedures allowing for some leeway for discretion and independent action. Experience in AS400 and Tyler Utility Billing preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, officials and the public. (Daily)Post to and maintain accurate meter reading records on a timely basis in accordance with established procedures. (Daily)Organize files and maintain accurate records. (Daily)Assigned projects are performed properly and efficiently. (Daily)Prepare reports and records as required. (Daily)Work independently and complete assigned job duties on schedule. (Daily)Provide supervisors with reports in a timely manner. (Daily)
MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND WORK AIDS USED: Computer, telephone, ten-key calculator, inserting machine, printer, copy machine, and fax machine.
