Assembly Technician

Located in Sherwood, OR

Salary: $19+

Growing Sherwood machining company is looking to add an Assembly Technician to their assembly team! In this role, you will be performing assembly duties within quality guidelines as required to meet company and customer requirements. This constantly growing company is looking for capable, flexible, and dependable candidates to fill this position on the day shift.

This is a contact role.

 

This person will be responsible for:

• Perform assembly duties within quality guidelines as required to meet company and customer requirements.
• Job set-up including picking of parts, prints, schematics, work instructions, and necessary tools.
• Pre-assembly of components for main assemblies.
• Assembly of components per documented methods and processes.
• Complete various machined parts as directed, including pins, inserts, and heli-coils.
• Correct use of power and hand tools in preparations and assembly
• Inspection of completed assemblies.
• Communication of recommendations for improvement of process and procedure
• Complete inspection forms and supporting documentation when necessary.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in manufacturing or production preferred.
• Can complete repetitive work using your hand and wrist consistently all day.
• Capable of handling a fast-paced environment in addition to having a strong sense of urgency.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attentive to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, negotiate a flight of stairs, and move about facilities.
• Must be able to lift light to moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).

Schedule:   Monday - Friday,  6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay: $19+/hr. DOE
