Job Duties of the machine operator:

• Verify piece count for carts and boxes
• Monitor extrusion rate, profile configuration
• Maintain supply of compound staged at machine
• Assist in moving carts when necessary
• Perform tooling changes, die cleaning as needed and grading own rejects
• Stack profiles on carts or bundle in boxes ensuring profiles are properly stacked or packaged
• Responsible for cleaning profiles when necessary

 

Qualifications for the machine operator:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Shift Flexibility - 3 shifts available!
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
