Production Operator - Day Shift

Located in Clarksville, TN

Salary: $13 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking candidates for a Production Operator position in Hopkinsville, KY. This position will pay $13/hour, and the hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include being flexible to rotate to different jobs listed below: 
• In Heat room, put straight rods into a machine to be formed into springs and sort springs into machines to be heat set
• Large Grinding- Place springs on table quickly to go into grinding machine (standing)
• Small Grinding- Place springs on table quickly to go into grinding machine (sitting)
• Shipping: Box and pack springs for shipping
• Torsion- sort springs into different machines
• Paint Room- coat springs with different color paint using a machine
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting a few ounces
• Capable of working in a temperature-controlled environment
• Capable of standing for entire shift or sitting for entire shift depending on department
• Must have reading comprehension and computer skills for shipping
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE
