Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting & CPA Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and financial discrepancies.
  • Provide financial analysis and reports to management for decision-making purposes.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
  • Stay current with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry best practices.
  • Offer guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
  • Handle any other accounting-related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role, with a minimum of [X] years of experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
