Job Description:

Position Summary: The Client Recovery Assistant - Graveyard Shift plays a crucial role in assisting with client orientation, daily activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Orientation: Assist in the orientation process for new clients to the facility, providing information and support as needed.

2. Meal Preparation: Pull food items for upcoming client meals and inventory groceries and supplies for the treatment facility.

3. Program Support: Present program information to clients as directed by Case Managers or Program Directors.

4. Client Transport: Transport clients to appointments as directed, ensuring their safety and adherence to schedules.

5. Supervision: Oversee and monitor clients' activities, behaviors, and adherence to program rules, including conducting house walkthroughs every half hour.

6. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client activities and behaviors in client charts.

7. Compliance: Adhere to laws and regulations governing chemical dependency treatment, including confidentiality and mandated reporting.

8. Professionalism: Perform all duties in a professional and timely manner, representing the company in an ethical and respectful manner.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
• Preferably have knowledge of substance abuse and recovery principles.
• Full-time availability for graveyard shift (12:00 AM to 8:00 AM).
• Ability to lift and carry groceries and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Flexibility to work day, swing, and graveyard shifts as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some college coursework or 1 year of work experience in the substance abuse field.
• Knowledge of 12-Step programs and principles.
• Ability to interact with clients in a non-reactive, non-judgmental manner.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions and receive feedback.
