Express Employment Professionals is hiring immediately for a long-term, full-time Millwright/Saw Filer position in Yuba City. Responsibilities include prioritizing and completing tasks, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining machines.

Job Title: Millwright/Saw Filer
Pay: $19-$22/HR (DOE)

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a mechanical role, preferably in production manufacturing. Automotive experience is transferable.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic mechanical power tools

JOB SUMMARY:                                        

1. Worker performs a wide variety of skilled maintenance, saw filing and mechanical tasks including:
2. Dismantling and repairing machines using hand grinders, hammers, wrenches, drills, welding torches, chain saws and other hand and power tools, and filing large round saws by hand.
3. Assembling and installing machines, conveyors and replacement parts and installing saw blades.
4. Diagnosing mechanical problems and reading instruction manuals to determine work procedures and diagnosing saw problems.
5. During rest breaks, workers sometimes relieve co-workers on lumber processing operation.
6. Intermittent with other tasks, workers may do miscellaneous light clean-up.
7. A high level of mental, visual, and auditory alertness is required for all millwright and saw filing tasks.
