A scrap metal facility located in Detroit, MI is looking for a Scale Clerk to join their operations! Please fully read the job details below!

- Must be able to work overtime & Saturday's. 7am-5pm weekday M-F / 7am-12pm on Saturday - 6 day work week with Saturday's required.

- This position is working indoors AND outdoors. Must be able to work in all different weather climates

- THC is not permitted - 10 panel urine screening performed during agency onboarding and hair follicle test at point of permanent hire.

- Candidate must have a mix of clerical & industrial experience - able to use computers proficiently, but also work in an industrial setting and be okay doing more labor style work than just sitting at a desk.

Job Duties:

• Grading different materials
• Handling different materials to go to the correct location within the facility
• Entering materials into inventory system
• Aiding with inventory counts
• Operating sit down forklift (No experience required - will train)
• Customer Service
• Experience with computers and data entry

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math, computer, account reconciliation, and data entry skills
• Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once
• Ability to complete assignments promptly with attention to detail
• Work cooperatively with other employees and the public
• Pre-Employment background required
