Metal Fabricator/Installer

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $25 - $35/hour

An Edmonton client is searching for a Metal Fabricator/Installer to join their team.

Metal Fabricator/Installer Highlights:

·         Fabrication:

·         Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to create custom metal components.

·         Operate a variety of metalworking machines (the shop has 10+ machines).

·         Perform GTAW (Tig) welding, cutting, bending, and shaping of metal materials to precise measurements.

·         Fabricate products for commercial, residential, and industrial applications, including countertops, hand guards, handrails, and custom projects.

·         Installation:

·         Coordinate and oversee the installation of fabricated metal products on-site.

·         Handle projects ranging from 30 minutes to 3 weeks, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

·         Ensure installations are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.

·         Qualifications:

·         1-3 years of experience within the metal fabrication trade (no ticket necessary).

·         Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

·         Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements.

·         Ability to work independently.

·         Strong communication and customer service skills.

·         Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation.

·         Counterbalance forklift experience is an asset.
