Pricing Analyst

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville and Dickson are currently seeking reliable, experienced, and efficient candidates for a Pricing Analyst to monitor and provide guidance in all areas involved with and pertaining to customer pricing strategies and implementation of electronic pricing initiatives. This position will pay $19.00 per hour, and the hours are M-F 8:00A.M. - 5:00P.M.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain consistent and accurate customer pricing across necessary electronic platforms.
• Administering pricing requests including additions/changes/deletions of products from existing price lists, new customer price lists, transfer pricing setup and maintenance, intercompany transfers, and price adjustments in SAP for the North America Business.
• Coordinate pricing strategies with upper management.
• Interact with appropriate personnel on pricing duties and objectives.
• Identify new means of electronically implementing pricing updates to minimize time to go to market with new initiatives.
• Maintain an active list of external customers to provide current pricing updates to customers outside the company.
• Work closely with the IT Dept. and third party vendors in the implementation of new initiatives which might be related to pricing.
• Support promotional pricing during seasonal and special program incentives.
• Work together with sales staff with promos and to achieve margin goals within the company.
• Maintain pricing tables in SAP.
• Update sales reps, manufacturer reps and distributors of new price changes.
• Establish relationships with our A.O. Smith, State, and American sales reps and distributors by communicating and researching any pricing matters.
• Adhere to and help to identify company pricing policies to meet internal profit margins and maintain competitiveness within the marketplace.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

• Has 1 year minimum of work-related experience
• Bachelor''s Degree from a college or university in Business, Finance, or related area of study is preferred but not required
• Possess excellent analysis skills, written and oral communication
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an above average knowledge of General Database software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
• Excellent Communication Skills via written and oral
• Ability to apply concepts of basic math while working with MS Excel and Access software.
