Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class C CDL Driver to join our team. As a Class C CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, a commitment to adhering to traffic laws and regulations, and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport goods and materials to various locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are securely strapped or loaded to prevent damage during transit.
• Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and minimize delivery times, taking into account traffic patterns and road conditions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, documenting any issues or maintenance concerns as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage logs, delivery receipts, and any other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations governing commercial vehicle operation.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times, providing outstanding customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial driver, preferably in a similar role.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws, with a commitment to prioritizing safety at all times.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, with the physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain thorough and accurate records.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with the willingness to adjust schedules based on business needs.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route optimization software is a plus.
