We are seeking a skilled Market Research Analyst for a full-time contract position with our client lasting approximately 1 month.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market research within relevant industries and will be able to provide valuable insights to inform our strategic decisions. This role involves conducting comprehensive market research, gathering, and interpreting data, and staying updated on industry developments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in market research, preferably within related industries
- Technical background with the ability to understand industry-specific requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with the Sarnia-Lambton area and its market dynamics is mandatory
- Experience in the foam industry or relevant sectors is an asset
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences
- Gather and interpret data to identify market opportunities and potential areas for growth
- Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends to inform strategic decision-making
- Assess legal, customs, and quality standards applicable to the market, including targeting market criteria and acceptable quality standards
- Identify potential customers, suppliers, and export companies
- Research and recommend the best quality standards and suppliers in relevant markets
