Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and efficient candidates for a Temp to Hire General Labor position with a local Masonry Company. This position will pay $16.50 per hour, and hours are Monday- Friday from 6:00 A.M.- 4:00 P.M. while training on 1st shift. After 2-3 months of training, you must switch to 2nd shift working 4PM - 2AM with a $1/hour shift differential. 

Responsibilities:

• Stack lumber and blocks weighing from 4-70 lbs. on a continuous basis
• Load and unload blocks from tumbler
• Perform basic clean up responsibilities 
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with Company procedures, rules and regulations.
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of occasionally lifting materials up to 70 lbs.
• Able to work 12-14 hour days and Saturdays as needed
• Follows written and verbal communications and instructions.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
• Capable of repetitive physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting products above the shoulders if necessary
• Capable of standing/walking on concrete for long periods of time
• Capable of working in the outdoor elements as well as indoor that is not climate controlled.
• Capable of working in a noisy, loud environment
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to metatarsal boots, Safety Eyewear, and earplugs.
