Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and industrious candidates for a Block Machine Operator position with a Local Masonry Distributor located in Clarksville TN. This position will pay $17.00 per hour while training on 1st shift for 2-3 months, and the hours are Monday-Friday from 6 AM - 4 PM. Once training is complete, you must switch to 2nd shift working 4PM - 2AM; you will also get a $1/hour increase. 

Responsibilities

• Operate a robotic machine
• Monitor quality and make adjustments through computer as well as mechanical adjustments
• Fix any minor mechanical issues
• Utilize machine to run as efficient as possible
• "Dryside"- package and process product
• Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Complies with all IP’s Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols at all times 
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Possess basic computer knowledge
• Has previous machine operator experience 
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
• Capable of repetitive physical movements such as bending, stooping, and reaching
• Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment
