Salary: $16.00-$17.00/HR

Upholsterer Job Summary: A furniture manufacturer in Byron Center, MI is seeking an experienced upholsterer.

Upholsterer Requirements:

• Ensuring the furniture is upholstered to the customers’ requirements
• Ensuring that the quality expectations are met.
• This candidate needs to be very self-directed and be able to work on their own but also on a team and be willing to work in other areas as needed, such as the assembly area. 
• Knowledge of pattern cutting, furniture upholstery is necessary. 

Schedule & Pay: 

• 1st shift; 5:00am-1:00pm (with overtime as needed)
• $16.00-$17.00/HR

Upholsterer Qualifications:

• Applicants must have previous furniture upholstery experience.
• Comfortable working with staple guns.
• Have excellent attention to detail.
• This position requires a person that is used to line work and the best attribute is that someone is able to work fast and efficiently.  
• Accurate math/measuring is necessary.
• A history of excellent attendance and punctuality is required as well as above par attention to detail.
