CNC Coil Set Up Operator

Located in Forest Lake, MN

Salary: $26+

Express Employment is hiring an experienced CNC Coil Set Up Operator for one of our clients in the Hugo area that is known for their Spring Manufacturing. They are a 4th generation owned business and they offer up a clean, organized and friendly work environment. They are very customer service oriented and thrive in going above and beyond to achieve the highest customer satisfaction possible. 

Schedule: Mon - Thurs 7a-430p & Fri 7a-1230p

Pay: $26+ DOE 

Overview:  Ideal candidate supports customer needs by reading prints/design sheets, determining needs and requirements of the job, tooling CNC machines, programming CNC machines, running and inspecting parts and meeting shipping deadlines.

Responsibilities: 

1. Ability to identify spring type.
2. Ability to read prints and design sheets, including initial tension, rate, force, etc. requirements.
3. Ability to determine inspection requirements and using test equipment.
4. Ability to determine the wire requirements for the job.
5. Ability to identify grades of raw material.
6. Ability to convert fractions.
7. Ability to determine tooling needs for job requirement.
8. Ability to tool and program machine.
9. Strong mechanical aptitude support required.
10. Ability to use forklift.

Qualifications:
 

1. Maintain revision control records.
2. Maintain customer fixtures and samples.
3. Maintain inspection records.
4. Maintain lot control.
5. Maintain supporting job requirement records.
6. Maintain tooling fixtures.
