Aluminum Framer

Express Employment professionals is seeking a skilled Framer to join a local Tyler, TX company. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy lifting, roofing, Installing aluminum and blueprint reading.

Pay: $19.95 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Repairing existing storage tanks, installing new and repairing existing aluminum internal floating roofs and seals, and installing new and repairing existing steel external/internal floating roofs
• Construct frameworks for buildings and structures according to blueprints
• Installing and removing aluminum/stainless steel internal floating roofs in storage tanks
• Removing and installing seals in storage tanks
• Grinding
• Hole watching/fire watching
• Various other tasks associated with the erection/repair of storage tanks
• Working at heights up to 60 feet off the ground
• Install aluminum on assembled frames
• Safely operate while building the floating roof
• Ensure that all work meets quality standards and is completed on time
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications:

• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
• Proven experience as a Framer, Roofer, Installer or similar role in the industry
• Must be able to pass basic physical, drug test, safety schooling, background check, and pulmonary function test
• Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crawl, walk, climb vertical ladders and stand continuously
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds and carry 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
• Ability to work efficiently in confined spaces
• Experience with Installing aluminum and building Metal frames is a plus
• Must be willing to travel all over, for periods of times

• Schedule:
• 10 hour shift

License/Certification:

• Driver's License or Government Issued Identification (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Required)
