Pay Range: $18-23/hr

Shifts available: 2nd shift (1pm-11pm Mon-Thurs, some Friday overtime) and Weekend shifts (6am-6pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday plus one overtime day during the week)

Job Summary:

As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and components according to engineering specifications. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will ensure that our cranes meet the highest standards of performance and reliability

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts and components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Select appropriate tools, materials, and cutting speeds for each job to ensure efficient and accurate machining.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality control and make adjustments as necessary to maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Strong understanding of machining techniques, tooling, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Attention to detail and precision with a focus on quality control.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with crane manufacturing or related industries is a plus.
