Job Title:
Program Manager Assistant

Nature of Work:
Works with Program Manager and all related departments to ensure that customer orders and quotations are processed and other requirements are met effectively and on a timely basis by performing the following duties personally or through others.

Duties and Task Statements:
• Supporting Program Managers in the following tasks
• Assist in processing customer part orders in accordance with established procedures. Accurately enter orders into computer system per system requirements and established procedures.
• Maintain customer files as needed for record keeping and for regular interaction with customers regarding account activity.
• Collect information from customers regarding product or service complaints. Process information in accordance with company complaint procedures and ensure that the information is promptly delivered to the Quality Manager and Sales.
• Helps coordinate process flow of quotes and new products through Engineering, Purchasing, and Production.

Formal Interaction with Others:
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all internal departments regarding customer requirements, schedules, forecasts, shipping methods, drawing changes as well as any/all customer issues which have an impact on the Company and/or the customer.

Working Environment:
The work setting consists of an office environment with adequate lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level. The work schedule consists of a five-day, 40-hour workweek.


Minimum Qualifications:
Experience
Personal computer skills with the use of word-processing, spreadsheet and Windows’ application knowledge.

Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions and apply them in practical situations.

Education
A minimum of a High School Diploma is required. Employee must successfully pass all internal training requirements offered by the company necessary to do the job.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Employee must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good oral and written communication skills are necessary. Organizational skills, attention to detail, phone skills, able to multi-task, computer literacy in MS Office is desired. Employee must work safely at all times and maintain confidentiality of all customer and company information.
