Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and experienced candidates for a Quality Control Technician Position in Hopkinsville, KY with a Leading Refrigeration Tubing Manufacturer. This position will pay $20 - $22.72 / hour, and the hours are for 2nd Shift with a rotating schedule of 12 hours per day - 2 days on / 3 days off.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, measure and report statistical variations of the manufacturing process
• Will rotate between major responsibilities for Extrusion and CTL and Hairpin
• EDM preparation of CMM tubing samples
• Dimensional measurement using CMM for all flat and round tubing
• Mechanical and burst testing for all flat and round tubing
• Testing flat tube
• Zinc thickness and coverage (acid) testing flat tube
• CTL product verification, changeover approval, and auditing
• Hairpin product verification, changeover approval (CPK), and auditing
• Leak testing coils
• Assist in Monthly tests for CPK, Gage R&R’s, Alpha/Beta, etc.
• Operator training for Quality Alerts and Temporary Deviations
• Perform additional Quality Technician duties as needed
• Good attitude, performance and attendance is essential.

Qualifications:

• Has High School Diploma or GED
• Must have Quality Experience
• Has experience with micrometers and calipers
• Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, crawling and lifting if necessary
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE
