Yard Clerk

Located in New Orleans, LA

Salary: $15.00/hour

Yard Clerk needed for a busy freight forwarding company in New Orleans.  This is a full-time long-term opportunity with overtime as needed.

Pay: $15.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Working in the yard and warehouse, counting and weighing products
• Maintain work orders and maintain appointment logs
• Work with personnel, including labor and forklift drivers, heavy equipment operators, and samplers, if applicable.
• Able to perform manual labor when required.
• Travel between warehouses at any given time
• Complete additional paperwork as needed
• Wiliness to fill in for other positions
• Use a handheld scanner

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Requirements:

• Excellent reading and writing skills
• Good math and handwriting skills
• TWIC card is highly preferred
