Salary: $17.95/HR
Custodian Job Summary: A section 8 housing community is looking for a custodian to help with cleaning apartments and maintaining the cleanliness of grounds and buildings.
Custodian Requirements:
- Cleans and sanitizes office buildings, bathrooms, hallways, community rooms, laundry facilities and community room kitchens, and vacant units
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors using brooms, wet mops, scrapers and/or heavy-powered scrubbers and buffers
- Cleans rugs and carpeted floors using lightweight and/or heavy-powered vacuum cleaners, hand sweepers, or shampooers as appropriate
- May assist maintenance in preventive maintenance tasks
- Removes snow and ice from sidewalks and entrances
- Maintains grounds outside buildings to keep them free of trash and debris, including around dumpster areas
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st Shift 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
- $17.95/HR
Custodian Requirements Qualifications:
- Skilled in the use of various building and ground maintenance tools and equipment as appropriate (lawn mower, edger, buffer, vacuum cleaner, etc.)
