Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for an Auto Glass Technician for a local glass installation company. The Auto Glass Technician will be responsible for repairing and replacing windshields, door, and quarter glasses on vehicles.

 

Essential Job Functions:

• Using primer to prime all damaged areas of windshields and car windows.
• Removing moldings, wipers, screws, bolts, and clips before glass installation and repairs and replacing them thereafter.
• Injecting resin into small chips or cracks and heating the damaged areas using a heat source.
• Identifying issues that may affect glass installation, such as rust or vehicle damage.
• Removing all dirt and debris from windshields and windows before beginning repair or weatherproofing treatments.

 

Pay: $16.00/HR+ DOE

 

Schedule: 7:00am-5:30pm Monday - Friday

 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven experience working as an auto glass technician.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented.
