Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Mechanic

 Food Production Facility - 1st / 3rd Shift

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanics to join our food production facility! You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of machinery and equipment while ensuring food safety standards.

Evaluation to Hire - Pay based on experience up to $28 an hour (possible direct hire also)

Maintenance Mechanic Duties:
- Safely repair/maintain production machines, conveyor systems, PLCs, pneumatic tools
- Troubleshoot issues with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Conduct maintenance on boilers, plumbing, and overall facilities systems
- Emphasis on using food-grade lubricants, materials for a sanitary environment
- Read schematics and have advanced knowledge of hand/power tools
- Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting
- Understand product flows and manufacturing processes
- Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills

Required Skills:
- 5+ years maintenance experience in a food manufacturing plant preferred
- Proficient in electrical, PLC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanicals  
- Basic computer skills for documenting maintenance activities
- Food safety awareness and commitment to GMPs
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve issues efficiently
- Self-motivated with a safety-minded approach
