An Edmonton client is seeking an HR Manager to join their team.

 

HR Manager Highlights:

 

·         We seek a dedicated HR Manager to lead our human resources efforts. The manager will focus on setting up and optimizing our new HR platform, Humi, and developing comprehensive HR strategies tailored to our specific needs. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a collaborative and positive workplace culture, participating in leadership activities, and supporting the company's strategic growth through effective HR practices.

·         Key Responsibilities:

·         HR Platform Integration: Led the setup and functional deployment of the Humi HR platform, ensuring it meets the company's needs for recruitment, development, and other HR functions.

·         Strategy Development: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and refine the HR strategy, including creating and implementing policies focusing on recruitment and professional development.

·         Training Programs: Oversee targeted training programs, including individual development plans and technical training through AutoDesk, aligning them with staff needs and company goals.

·         Cultural Initiatives: Actively support company-wide initiatives, which focus on health, fitness, and overall wellness.

·         Leadership Team Participation: Engage with the leadership team in the Scaling Up program to action strategic plans and contribute to the company's overall direction.

·         Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the recruitment process from job posting to final hiring, including screening interviews, test projects, and final assessments with the CEO. Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

·         Performance and Compensation: Work with the benefits consultant for quarterly updates and aim to establish total compensation reports by the end of 2024.

·         Requirements:

·         Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar leadership role in HR.

·         Strong ability to communicate effectively and lead both projects and people.

·         Ability to influence positively and motivate staff without direct authority.

·         Highly flexible and adaptable to meet the dynamic needs of the company.

·         Demonstrates humility and empathy, focusing on team cohesion and support.

·         Familiarity with HR platforms like Humi is advantageous.

·         Experience in strategic planning and execution within HR contexts.
