Salary: $18-23.72 DOE

The Grounds Keeper will be performing routine manual labor involved in grounds maintenance, package delivery, setup and take down of event rooms, and routine and special cleaning services throughout the community in an effort to promote a progressive customer service culture.

  • Assist with trash, recycle, and compost removal throughout the community.
  • Clean and organize respective areas as assigned.
  • Hand water interior plants, flowerbeds, and other areas as assigned.
  • Operate light motorized equipment in a safe and professional manner, and in accordance with manufacturers'' guidelines.
  • Perform a variety of manual labor related duties to include but not limited to pressure washing, graffiti removal, leaf and debris blowing, cleaning water fountains, and pools and drainage projects.
  • Perform deep cleanings of the loading dock, parking garage, and common use areas.
  • Repair and maintain department supplies and tools.
  • Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures and act in a calm manner in the event of an emergency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About you:

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or related field.
  • State Chemical Applicator license or pursuit of the license once beginning employment.
  • Knowledge of chemicals and their proper use.
  • Skills in operation and maintenance of landscape equipment.

This is a fulltime position Monday-Friday from 6a-230p during the summer and 7a-330p during the winter.  Wage range is $18-23.72 DOE.
