Salary: $20.00-$30.00 DOE

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Bilingual Material Handling Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless flow of machine-cut parts through our production process. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, addressing bottlenecks and pushing the process forward. This position demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in the Texas heat.

 

What you will do:

• Transport machine-cut parts to the next stage in the production process, ensuring efficiency and minimizing bottlenecks.
• Read and interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and shipping labels to ensure accurate material handling.
• Act as liaison and facilitate instructional directions and work orders to Machine operator on completion goals for the day.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring materials are correctly placed for the next phase of production.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and process flow.
• Lift and move heavy materials (100+ lbs) using wheeled equipment.
• Stand for most of the shift while performing various tasks.
• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to coordinate with a diverse team.
• Adapt to new methods and techniques introduced for process improvement.

What we are looking for:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documents.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain a tidy work environment.
• Physical capability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in high-temperature environments with large fans circulating hot air.
• Teachable attitude with a willingness to learn and implement new processes.
