An Edmonton client is seeking a Shop Support to join their team.

 

Shop Support Highlights:

·         Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Shop Support worker to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and cleanliness of our shop environment. The position requires a combination of labor tasks, forklift operation, and meticulous attention to detail, especially in handling and labeling chemical packaging.

·         Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning: Use floor machines for general cleaning, dust mezzanine areas, and ensure the shop remains tidy and organized.
• Labeling Chemical Packaging: Carefully label chemical packaging, requiring close attention to detail as all documentation is managed via pen and paper.
• Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts as part of daily duties. Prior experience is beneficial, though not required, as recertification will be provided on the job.

·         Position Details:

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50-60 lbs.

·         Requirements:

• Experience in forklift operation preferred; certification or recertification will be provided.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions for labeling and handling materials.
• Must wear steel-toed boots; additional PPE, such as hard hats and safety glasses, will be provided.

Shop Support Hours & Wage

 

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• $20/hour
