JOB REQUIREMENTS

1.      Training, knowledge and satisfactory performance of job responsibilities as outlined below.

2.      Training and knowledge of the Cross Contamination Policy

3.      Training and knowledge of the following safety policies:

          a. Lifting procedures

          b. Personal Protective Equipment

4.      Training and knowledge of the MSDS Information

5.      Be able to lift a maximum of fifty-five (55) pounds repetitively.

6.      Be able to work any shift and overtime as required.

7.      Be able to stand for up to eight (8) hours.

8.      Must be able to wear negative-pressure respirator.

9.      Will be required to shower after every shift.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1.             Responsible to work on the production line either packaging the water soluble pouches, poly paper bags, or packing and palletizing the finished cartons.

2.             Responsible for operating several different type of bag and box sealers. 

3.             Responsible for making quality checks during packaging.

4.             Responsible for tracking lot numbers of packaged goods and change lot numbers as required.

5.             Responsible for recording bag weights, when applicable.

6.     Along with other employees, responsible for keeping the plant clean and orderly.

7.             Perform other tasks as instructed by supervision or management.

 

HEALTH/SAFETY

1.             Never operate any equipment that you have not been trained on.

2.             All employees are expected to work safely at all times and follow all plant rules.

3.             All employees are to report any injury immediately to Supervision.

4.            Employees should make every effort to correct any unsafe conditions they observe.  If not correctable,

unsafe conditions should be reported immediately to Supervision.

     

All employees will be supplied with basic safety equipment and services such as:

 

a.        Coveralls

b.       safety glasses

c.        gloves

d.       shower facilities & lockers

e.        respirator as required for job.

 

The employee will be required to have on site one pair of steel-toed safety shoes and work clothes to wear under coveralls such as, shirt, pants, socks, and underclothes.  These items are to be kept at the plant and will be washed on site. Almost all areas are heated and cooled but during winter it maybe advisable to have some type of jacket on site.
