 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients; and identifies and locates new domestic clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls. 
  • Develops and implements strategies for domestic sales in within the industry and reaches out to existing and previous customer accounts in accordance with marketing promotions through a variety of methods. 
  • Applies knowledge of the field and product features to identify and match products to the needs of clients and potential leads, to include upselling and cross-selling additional products that will enhance product efficiency and performance. 
  • Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large; and provides information, quotes, credit terms, and other relative information.
    Negotiates prices, terms of sales, and/or agreements; prepares and submits orders, all within established company goals. 
  • Collaborates with related departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly. 
  • Prepares and reports domestic sales results, status of accounts, and leads. 
  • Provides technical support to customers requesting information on the proper use of our products and troubleshoot any issues. 
  • Provide timely clerical support for all sales by ensuring appropriate shipping documents are prepared to reflect accurate pricing rates and are made ready for shipping, and coordinate customer pickups. 
  • Follow up on all sales transactions with customers on delivery of orders and update and maintain client databases. 

SKILLS/ ABILITIES 

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships. 
  • Thorough understanding of products and services to be sold. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. 
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and sales related software. 
  • Ability to compile, analyze, and communicate data.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

  • At least five (5) years of quantifiable sales experience required. 
  • At least five (5) years of customer service experience required. 
  • Associate Degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business strongly preferred.
