Job Description:

As a proactive and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist, you will establish and manage the HR department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and payroll processing. This role requires a hands-on approach to develop and implement HR policies, manage bi-weekly payroll, and ensure ongoing safety training.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll processing accurately and timely.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay updated on all safety regulations and conduct regular safety training for staff.
  • Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintain personnel records.
  • Address employee concerns and foster a positive work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support management with employee development plans.
  • Coordinate benefits administration and manage employee leave.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring processes.
  • Serve as a point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and issues.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in payroll processing systems and HR software.
    • Understanding of safety regulations and experience conducting safety training.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information.
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Certification: HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
