Production Shipper (SDCB Certified)

Salary: $23+4%vp

Express Employment Professionals - Cloverdale/Langley's client, a multinational lubricants company located in the Port Kells area of north Langley (198^st St- 96Ave) requires a Production Shipper who is forklift Certified. Most work will be performed on the SDCB must be willing to learn new things and to run new machines.

 

The job Details:

-          prepping pails & drums (printing and labeling), and filling with product

-          Position moves on average 20-30 pallets using a forklift on a daily basis

The associate should not be expecting to operate a forklift all day only used to move palleted product to shipping area. they want to train you to work on various equipment in multiple departments. 

Successful candidate will need to learn to use their computer programs to log hours and show jobs as completed/how long they took and equipment used. they are willing to train but you much be willing to learn. 

Requirements :

 - SDCB certification with 5 years experience

 -  Physically fit, lifting of 50lbs daily

 - Expect to be inside & outside (in their yard) and are willing to get a little dirty

-  Company will supply safety glasses and gloves, you need ankle high steel toe work boots. 

-  There is transit service into the area but you would need to walk about 15-20 minutes to their facility from bus stop.

 

Job schedule is Monday – Friday  8am- 4:30pm (with some flexibility)

This is a long term position for the right candidate. long term- full time. 

 

The job pays $23/hour plus 4% vacation pay while on probation
