Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a Repair Technician position with an industrial equipment rental company in Manatee County, FL.

Duties:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with small engines and related components.
- Repair or replace defective parts, such as carburetors, fuel systems, ignition systems, and electrical components.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and prevent future breakdowns.
- Test equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours.

Requirements:
- Experience working with construction equipment or other heavy machinery.
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems and components.
- Strong knowledge of small engine systems, including two-stroke and four-stroke engines.
- Proven experience as a small engine mechanic or similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver''s license and clean driving record.
- Position will require Drug Screen and Background Check before placement.

Hours of work:
7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday

- Excavators: Including mini excavators and large excavators for digging and earthmoving tasks.
- Loaders: Skid steer loaders, wheel loaders, and track loaders
- Telehandlers: Versatile lifting equipment capable of reaching heights and distances,
- Compaction Equipment: Rollers and compactors for soil and asphalt compaction.
- Aerial Lifts: Boom lifts, scissor lifts, and personnel lifts
- Generators: Power generation
- Light Towers: Portable lighting
- Utility Equipment: Utility vehicles, trenchers, and other specialized equipment for utility and infrastructure projects.
- Concrete Equipment: Concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and other tools for concrete construction
