Landscape Maintenance Technician

Overview: We are looking for a Landscape Maintenance Technician that has a good general understanding of landscaping techniques, and has plant knowledge, and experience with irrigation installation and repairs. This position does require a Valid Oregon Driver License. This is a full time position Mon-Fri and some weekend hours, temp to hire, and NOT seasonal.

 

Pay: $16-$17 DOE

 

Requirements/Duties:

 

We are seeking a Landscape Maintenance Technician position.

Responsibilities include:

• Must be able to dig, trench, plant, and install irrigation
• Have a good general understanding of landscaping techniques
• Has plant knowledge and be able to identify various plant species
• Experience with irrigation installation and repairs
• Must be able to drive company vehicle to multiple locations

Requirements:

• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of all irrigation systems and products
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve automatic sprinkler systems
• Understand of water saving techniques and technologies
• Strong organizational and time management
• Ability to work effectively with or without supervision, and lean and take direction
• Required to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs for long periods of time
• Be able to use shovels, rakes, trowel, and hand tools

Experience Required:

• Must have 2-3 years of recent experience in irrigation repair and installation, hardscaping, and water structures

This position is day shift Monday-Friday $16-17.00/hr + DOE
