Order Delivery Planner

 Austin, MN

$19.25 per hour

6 month assignment with possible extension

Monday-Friday, 7a-4p with 1 hour lunch break

40 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Is responsible for creating efficient truck delivery routes for customer and interplant orders.
• Groups individual sales and transfer orders from the Order Processing (OP) System into optimal truck delivery routes to meet customer service requirements 
• Coordinates and communicates with order entry, sales, transportation and 3rd delivery services to cost effectively deliver customer orders on time.
• Deals with daily and weekly volume peaks based on sales levels.  All routing must be completed daily regardless of volume fluctuations. During peak activity levels, unpredictable daily overtime is associated with this position.
• Other duties as assigned

 QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• Ability to accurately enter data.
• Demonstrated use of organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.
• Ability to work independently and stay on task
• Demonstrated understanding of teamwork as it relates to the entire organization.
• Have previous office and customer service experience

Preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience within transportation management systems
• Previous logistics or supply chain experience.
