We are currently searching for bright, motivated, positive, and ambitious candidates for a prominent local company in the Bradenton/Sarasota area in immediate need of Fabricators.
Requirements:
• Must be able to follow strict instructions.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
• Must develop layout and plan sequences of operation while applying allowances of stock for thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and physical properties of metal.
• Must have bending, cutting, and shearing experience.
Duties:
• Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame utters, and drill presses.
• Design and construct templates and fixtures.
• Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications, using square, ruler, and measuring tape.
• May set up and operate machine tools associated with fabricating, such as radial drill presses, end mill, and edge planner.
