Salary: $140,000 - $160,000.

We are currently assisting with recruitment for the Quality Control Manager for Eastern Canada for a company with a presence in Ontario.  

The preferred candidate would have:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in heavy industry, construction, operations, production, or maintenance, particularly in tool management, use, or maintenance roles.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in QA/QC supervision.
  • A minimum of CWB level 2 or higher with extensive knowledge of CSA and ASME codes.
  • Nuclear experience and relevant certification.
  • Experience working in multiple industries such as pulp & paper, mining, oil & gas, etc.
  • A proven track record of building relationships and working with complex, larger company customers.
  • A driven and enthusiastic personality, leading by example and taking a hands-on approach.
  • Flexibility to travel to our regional offices and client locations.
  • Providing Quality leadership and direction to Regional Quality leads and staff, Site Managers, and Job Superintendents.
  • Collaboratively developing and implementing Quality program aligned with and supporting the strategic goals, initiatives, and culture of the company, improving outcomes across the region.
  • Proactively identifying, mitigating, managing, and reporting business Quality risks and opportunities.
  • Allocating Quality resources to projects effectively and efficiently in a cost-effective manner.
  • Your capability to work collaboratively to develop regional strategic Quality plans aligned with Corporate Quality programming and initiatives.
  • Your knowledge of quality systems as it relates to weld procedure specifications, welder qualifications, and weld materials.
  • Demonstrating leadership skills in a high-paced work environment.
  • Being collaborative, self-starting, and a team player, working towards achieving the strategic goals of the company.
