Express Employment is Direct Hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a local clients' needs in Howell, MI.

Maintenance Technician

Day Shift: 7am-3 :30pm Monday-Friday (OT As needed)

Night Shift: 3rd: 10 PM - 6:30 AM (OT on weekends as needed)

Pay: Based on Experience, Typically $25-$34/hr, but may be flexible for the right candidate.

Maintenance Technician Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Perform preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis.
• Inspect belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, grease bearings, seals, etc.
• Repair or replace broken parts, seeking an applicant well versed with mechanical and electrical trouble shooting and repairs.
• Electrical (broken wires/short, loose wire, switch issue, component electrical failure)
• Mechanical (worn/broken component, lack of lubrication, air leak, broken/failed cylinder).
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
• Monitor start-up of assigned areas, repair any issues identified during start-up, complete work orders, respond to maintenance calls, maintain spare parts crib and required documentation.
• Complete equipment moves, projects, and rebuilds.
• LOTO Certified, Confined space, etc.

Qualifications:

• Industrial motors and motor controls
• Controls knowledge preferred CNC and PLC troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot operator interface terminals, servo systems, VFDs, PLCs, and power supplies
• Hydraulic/pneumatic experience
• Industrial lift truck troubleshooting and repair
• Industrial equipment preventative maintenance
• 5+ years’ experience
