Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a local Tyler TX company! The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related vehicle systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any issues and ensure they meet safety standards.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Operate and maintain various hand and power tools.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Great customer service.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Clean MVR and mechanical experience.
• Strong understanding of diesel engines and vehicle systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
