HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER – Rochester, MN.

 

Job Description

 

The Human Resources Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate human resources management activities.

 

General Duties

  • Perform personnel management functions related to recruitment, hiring, training, promotion, compensation, career development, termination, and retirement
    Develop personnel policies
  • Maintain and update policy manuals and employee handbooks
  • Keep managers informed of how to comply with anti-discrimination regulations
  • Use communication skills and organizational abilities to conduct recruiting and employee testing programs
  • Collect ongoing data regarding employee satisfaction
  • Conduct new employee orientations, exit interviews, and educational programs
  • Administer and keep compensation and benefits packages updated
  • Maintain employees’ personnel files
  • Receive employee complaints and act to resolve issues
  • Keep informed of current laws and compliance regulations regarding employer and employee rights and obligations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, or Business Administration (preferred)
  • 4+ years industry experience
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP (preferred)
