Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural engineering efforts on small projects or support senior engineers on larger projects.
• Engage with lead engineers to explore design alternatives and finalize framing layouts.
• Perform structural design and analysis for 3D structures (steel or reinforced concrete) subjected to static and dynamic loads using advanced software tools.
• Conduct structural calculations for foundation systems, earth retaining structures, and material storage facilities.
• Guide designers in creating 3D Revit models and prepare construction drawings.
• Review and verify calculations and drawings for accuracy, ensuring compliance with codes and best practices.
• Prepare construction specifications and review fabrication drawings and construction submittals for conformance to design requirements.
• Assist with fieldwork inspections and provide troubleshooting support as needed.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification in the US.
• 3+ years of experience in the design of steel and concrete structures for industrial projects, such as cement or mining.
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, RAM, TEDDS).
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• In-depth knowledge of applicable design codes for industrial building structures – steel and concrete (e.g., ASCE-7, IBC, AISC, ACI).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
