A local company is seeking to hire a new team member with basic carpentry skills. This is an excellent opportunity to learn one of the fundamental aspects of constructing buildings and the primary responsibilities of the construction industry.

 

Requirements:

- General knowledge of construction

- Ability to read a tape measure

- Understanding of essential construction tools

 

Responsibilities:

- Manual assembly using hand tools

- Maintaining a clean work area

- Lifting up to 50 lbs.

- Demonstrating initiative to learn the system and craft

- Accepting the position as an "apprentice," including:

    - Following specific directions

    - Carrying out the majority of the physical workload

    - Learning tasks on time and retaining knowledge
