SMT Operator

Located in Tempe, AZ

Salary: $20-26/hr.

Position: Surface Mount Equipment Operator

Job Duties:

• Setup and operate surface mount pick and place machines.
• Setup and operate automatic stencil printers.
• Setup and operate convection reflow ovens.
• Perform manual component placement and inspection.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance.
• Perform detailed quality inspections of populated circuit boards.

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Surface Mount Equipment. Experience with Assembleon and Yamaha equipment is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100, ESD, IPC-A-610 standards.
• Ability to read and understand process documentation, including Bills of Materials and Assembly drawings.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in component identification.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed written and oral instructions.

Shift:

• Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Lunch: 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM, Breaks: 8:30 AM & 1:00 PM).
• Overtime as needed, starting at 5:00 AM and running until 3:30 PM, with potential Saturday shifts from 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM. No Sunday shifts.

Pay Rate:

• $20 - $26 per hour, depending on experience.
