Control Panel Builder

A global manufacturing company is seeking a Control Panel Builder for their Ypsilanti location. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and experienced professional skilled in wiring and assembling electrical control panels and junction boxes, interpreting technical documents, fabricating parts, and installing a variety of electronic components.

What you’ll be doing as a Control Panel Builder 

• Wire and build-to-order electrical control panels, junction boxes, and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, bills of material, handwritten notes, or verbal instructions to determine material requirements or assembly instructions.
•  Fabricate or form parts and structures according to specifications using drills, calipers, cutters, or saws.
• Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic components to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Complete point-to-point wiring and install a wide variety of electronic components, including PLCs, relays, lights, and switches.

What you’ll need to succeed as a Control Panel Builder

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a control panel builder required
• High School diploma or equivalent

Additional information for the Control Panel Builder

• $18- $28 hourly
• Monday-Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
• Ypsilanti, 48197
