Quality Assurance Associate

A Local Company in Jupiter is looking for a Quality Assurance Associate 

 

 

Primary Function:

The Quality Assurance Associate I is a support role in the QA department. The position is responsible for multiple tasks within the Quality unit, including helping to ensure remains in a state of compliance, adhering to Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices, and performing basic decision-making skills to prioritize work, managing time, and resolving daily challenges with duties listed below.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Data entry

· Scanning & filing of Production and QA records

· Receipt, issuance, & reconciliation of labels

· Creation, issuance, update, and review of all batch related documentation (Master Batch Records, Packaging Pages, ets.) for completeness and accuracy

· Calculate product yield data for management use and KPI’s

· Review logbooks

· Prepare Annual Product Reports (APRs)

· Update of controlled documents as requested

· Aid in the execution and updating of the Training Program

· Various clerical duties as assigned

· This role is a flexible Quality role, bridging gaps as needed

· Performs other related duties as assigned by management

 

Skills & Knowledge Required:

· Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent

· Read, Write, Comprehend SOP, Master Batch records, Test procedures and other relevant technical documents in English

· Perform Calculations

· High level of attention to detail

· Effective written and oral communication in English

· Intermediate expertise with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook

· Bilingual in Spanish helpful, but not required

 

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Exposure:

· Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and finger; reach with hands and arms

· Occasionally required to sit

· Frequently lift and/or move up to (40) pounds

· Occasional exposure to GMP manufacturing environment including excessive noise, change in temperature and humidity, dust/particulate/fumes and working directly and indirectly with Finished product that includes a variety of medicated and non-medicated
