Utility Relief (Milk Receiver/Intake)

Located in Plateville, WI

Salary: $20.50/hour

Express Employment in Platteville has partnered with a local business in SHULLSBURG, WI to search for a candidate to support their business in a UTILITY RELIEF role. This is a full-time position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

• Have knowledge of and understand all equipment involved in receiving and shipment of liquid products, pumps, lines, valves, tanks, etc.
• Knowledge of sampling equipment and sample handling and storage.
• Documents all intake products. 
• Maintain the intake areas by sanitary measures to meet Federal and State regulations and practice quality control of all products.
• Accurately run all tests necessary for quality control, sight, smell and taste.
• Performs all necessary tests on incoming milk loads.
• Checks and documents product temperatures.
• Reports and follows up on all repairs of equipment as needed.
• Runs the CIP system daily, or as needed.
• Follows all GMP, PPE requirements.
• Perform all other assignments as required.

SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITES:

•  Maintains, adheres to, and administers company policies and procedures in human resources, food safety and quality assurance.
• Able to take direction and willing to work according to the instructions that are given by line leads or supervisors. Must be flexible enough to embrace change and ask questions when needed.
• Must have strong upper body strength for some aspects.
• Actively develop problem solving skills and initiative to consider and implement adjustments based on experience and sound judgement.
•  Must be a team player and able to work well with others but also able to work independently and productively with a timely outcome. Be persistent and hardworking while maintaining a positive attitude and environment.
• Embrace and support the plant’s safety program and policies to insure a safe, hazard-free working environment for all employees. 
• Adhere to company policies and legal guidelines and procedure in the areas of the overall packaging and production department, human resources, food safety and quality assurance.

SCHEDULE:

1st shift: 7:30 am-4:30 pm M-F 

Open availability covering PTO, Calls In's.
