We're seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our clients team on a long term temporary basis. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our recruitment efforts, developing and implementing innovative strategies to attract a diverse and skilled pool of candidates. You'll play a vital role in shaping our workforce, ensuring that we have the right talent in place to support our mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist

  • Crafting Excellence: Develop, implement, and facilitate best practices for all phases of the recruitment process. From sourcing to closing, you'll provide full lifecycle recruitment for multiple sites and states, ensuring that every step is executed with precision and care.
  • Building Bridges: Foster partnerships with CommonBond staff to ensure commitment and engagement throughout the recruitment process. You'll develop and maintain relationships with candidates over extended periods, cultivating a skilled and diverse candidate pool.
  • Creating Connections: Build diverse pipelines to fill roles in a timely manner, managing candidate experiences to ensure engagement throughout the recruitment process. Your influence will be felt in hiring decisions, ensuring fair selections based on job-related criteria.
  • Empowering Growth: Train and coach hiring managers on the hiring process, unconscious bias, and effective interviewing skills. By attending meetings, conferences, and job fairs, you'll develop relationships with candidates, professional associations, and industry colleagues.
  • Staying Ahead: Stay current with industry developments and legal compliance, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. You'll recommend new approaches, policies, and processes to ensure continual improvements and efficiency.

Qualifications: Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist

  • Passion and Purpose: Bachelor’s degree in HR/Industrial Relations, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience. You bring two or more years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience to the table, with a minimum of 5 plus years as a Recruiter.
  • Expertise and Insight: Demonstrated knowledge of affirmative action, employment law, diversity recruiting strategies, and interview techniques. Your ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for a variety of roles sets you apart.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Your written and verbal communication skills are excellent, and you're adept at building relationships and partnerships.
  • Tech-Savvy: You're proficient in MS Office and HRIS/applicant tracking systems, with a proficiency working with Talent Acquisition Management Systems. Experience with UKG/Ultipro is preferred but any will do.
  • Drive and Determination: Proactive and independent, you take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your time management skills are top-notch, and you consistently meet deadlines.
  • Confidentiality and Integrity: You understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality and can be trusted with sensitive information.
  • Versatility and Vision: You excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously and have a knack for completing statistical analysis.

Additional Information: Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist

  • Pay Range: $50-60/hour.
  • Collaborative Style: A collaborative and partnership style is essential for success in this role.

  • Reporting Structure: Reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Work ScheduleWorks on-site Tuesday & Wednesdays (collaboration days) and maybe other days if needed, for a total of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. No exceptions.
  • High Volume Recruitment: Experience with high-volume recruiting, handling 30 open requisitions, 5-8 phone screens per day, and at least 2 hires per week.
  • Recruitment Metrics: Experience with recruitment metrics and MS Office tools used to show data.
  • No Overtime: This position does not require overtime hours.
