Control Panel Assembler

 

Location: Eau Claire, WI

Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay: $18.00+ per hour

 

 

Express Employment is currently hiring a Control Panel Assembler to start immediately in Eau Claire!

The Control Panel Assembler will be part of a World Class Manufacturing Team that builds custom control panels and interfaces.  The Control Panel Assembler will provide excellent customer service with quality workmanship and by meeting customer due dates, while continuously improving.

 

Control Panel Assembler Responsibilities:

 

  • Read and interpret simple electrical specifications, wiring, and circuit diagrams.
  • Wire custom control panels and displays according to job specifications.
  • Operate power tools and other equipment used in the manufacturing of custom control panels and displays.
  • Ask clarifying questions to the engineering, sales, or manufacturing team for customer orders.
  • Keep the supervisor informed of problems, opportunities for improvement, questions, or

  • comments, related to topics such as workflow, equipment, procedures/work methods, safety, and employees. Recommend changes where appropriate.

  •  

    Maintain a high awareness of personal safety at all times.
  • Follow Assembly, Materials, and Accounting record keeping practices by promptly and accurately logging pertinent information.
  • Assist in packaging of orders.

Control Panel Assembler Requirements:

 

  • High Proficiency in operating power tools, hand tools, and other equipment.
  • High Proficiency at reading and understanding electrical schematics, engineering prints, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of electronics and electronic systems.
  • Must have a positive attitude, be a self-starter, and an able problem solver.
  • Work cross functionally at all levels of an organization.
  • Must be able to communicate technical information to others at all levels of the organization.

Education and Experience:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Technical Degree in related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
