Shop Lead  Carpenter Job Summary:

A locally-owned RV repair company is looking for a Maintenance Team Lead - Carpenter with advanced diagnostic and repair skills for Recreational Vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators, and coach body repairs. Someone who is passionate about leading a crew and fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems could be a great fit for this growing team. Shop Lead  Carpenter  Requirements:

• Responsible for leading a team through safe repair and troubleshooting practices
• Responsible for servicing new and used RV’s in cosmetic and foundational wood repairs, as well as plumbing and light electrical repairs
• RV Technicians do not service the chassis or engines, only interior, exterior, electrical, and plumbing
• Ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers and how the issue can be repaired
• Responsible for meeting the company standard of quality and maintaining appropriate levels of inventory and spare parts 
• Inspect RVs thoroughly

 

Schedule: 1^st Shift Monday – Friday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM

Pay: $25-$30/hr, based on experience

 

Shop Lead Carpenter Qualifications:

• 2 years of carpentry experience is required. 
• 2 years of prior supervisory experience is required.
• Prior technical experience in electrical and plumbing is highly desired.
• Electrical certification is preferred
• Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable working at heights as needed.
• Able to measure accurately using a tape measure.
• Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Reliable and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license.
