Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

Salary: $14.50 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking dedicated candidates for a Machine Operator entry-level position at $14.50/hr. with an established local manufacturing company. This position will utilize an automatic welder machine in the production department. Interested applicants must to be willing to work 10-hour shifts M-TH: 4:30 P.M.- 3:00 A.M. and be available for overtime hours on Fridays from 2 P.M. to 10 P.M. as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and accurately operate an automatic welder machine in the production department
• Maintain a safe work environment by working under close supervision, and by following all health and safety policy requirements of the company
• May assemble and/or pack boxes as needed
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting 5-25 lbs.
• Able to understand the meaning of written or printed matter
• Able to write information by inscribing characters or symbols
• Capable of standing on a concrete surface for the entire shift
• Capable of working in a hot environment
• Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting products above the shoulders if necessary
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Closed toed shoes/boots and Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear
• Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines and working required overtime as needed.
